The antidote to underwhelming is clearly to be Mo’ whelming.
This is another video from a serious artist that I believe is worthy of critical attention. I also think that it should be played on a loop in my home, because watching Mariah Carey portrayed writhing like a serpentine whore all over a nerd playing Guitar Hero is profound and a redeeming use of my time, energy, and spiritual faculties. I retract yesterday’s statement, because Mariah Carey is clearly a better artist. “Hot Little Mess” trumps AiH any day of the week. My girlfriend agrees and has no problem with me watching this video a whole lot, because it’s all about the innovative and engaging pre-canned music and not at all about Mo’s shapely legs and buttocks.
Especially that part where she talks about wrapping her thighs around that guy’s waist. That’s powerful stuff. I hope to someday share this video with my children, and celebrate the power of slutbombs over the lame and discredited sensibilities of people who don’t think with their wee-wees.
