I love Adobe. Adobe makes the best software in the world. But with the addition of Captivate 3 and Contribute CS4Â (a screencast tool and a web editor, respectively), I can officially no longer remember the names of any of their software products (they have exactly 100). I will now have to refer to all of them as “Photoshop”.

This decision is not as antinomial as you might think. “Photoshop” is more specific nomenclature than most people give their Adobe software. Referring to their Reader (#67 in the Adobe 100), how many people have you heard say, “I think I need to upgrade my Adobe?”
