You’ve probably already seen this, but y’know: election recap.

Because I am no longer able to distinguish between the presidential election and American Idol.

Conrad Black on the election:

This election has demonstrated once again the American genius for showmanship and its ability to command effortlessly the riveted attention of the whole world, most of which does not wish it well, for many months on end. Whatever the result, there is more room for hope than consternation.

Stumbled across this while browsing my favorite Radiohead fansite, and the podcast they link to is well worth subscribing. A ton of good shows are available from the past year or so, and it only looks to get better.

Obama makes inroads in the West, McCain loses key Southern swing states due to the African-American vote, and Red America is downsized.
