Who Buys Facebook Gifts, Anyway?

If you use Facebook, you may remember the “Gifts” feature. Little digital gifts that you can send people for $1 a piece. I’ve always wondered who buys them, and if anyone buys them at all. Well, Facebook publishes a limited amount of information about how many have sold, allowing venture capital firm Lightspeed to make an educated guess: about $35 million a year!
